How US Global Limousine supports Women History Month and Women Chauffeurs

March is Women's History Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible achievements of women throughout history. Alice Huyler Ramsey:

In 1909, Alice Huyler Ramsey became the first woman to drive across the United States, completing the journey from New York City to San Francisco in a Maxwell 30. Her journey took 59 days and covered a distance of over 3,800 miles.

Bessie Coleman:

Bessie Coleman was the first African American woman to earn a pilot's license, and she did so in 1921. She went on to become a successful stunt pilot and performer, and inspired countless women and people of color to pursue careers in aviation.

Grace Hopper:

Grace Hopper was a computer scientist and mathematician who played a key role in the development of computer programming languages. She also helped develop the first compiler, which translates computer code into machine-readable language.

Sarah Breedlove Walker:

Sarah Breedlove Walker, also known as Madam C.J. Walker, was an entrepreneur and philanthropist who became the first female self-made millionaire in the United States. She built her fortune through a line of hair care and beauty products targeted at black women, and used her wealth to support charitable causes and advocate for civil rights.

These women, and countless others, have made significant contributions to transportation and other fields, and continue to inspire us to this day.
